Site hosting options

There are two levels of service we provide. One of them is the hosting-only web site, the other is a managed web site.

Domain Name Registration

If you have not registered your Domain Name we can do this for you for $34.99+GST, renewed annually.

Hosting only

We provide the "sandpit" in which the website resides, but the customer is responsible for the development of the website and has to be responsible for the security of the website with regard to the design, code and layout of the files. We can provide a level of advice with respect to building websites, be we do not provide code reviews, site check ups etc in the basic hosting price. Each customer has their own sandpit and any site hack due to a developer's design flaw should ideally not expose other clients to a similar security vulnerability. EnZed PCs is not liable for any website damage caused by designers who fail to exercise due design diligence.

If a site is hacked due to a security flaw in a webserver or other low level component of the system then EnZed PCs works with the company which is providing the servers and managing the servers on which we are reselling the hosting space to ensure that the security issues are resolved at that level.

Managed web site

A managed site is one that is designed and then managed (as in updates to the designs, reviews of the code etc) by us. Enzed PCs take responsibility for the security built into the design and follow best practices with respect to the development of code, etc.

This solution is appropriate for the home user who would like to have a presence on the Internet. Examples are putting your family's genealogy online or advertising your holiday home.

Web hosting for small businesses and home users

This solution is appropriate for the small business that wants to host online shopping facilities, and have a database backend.

40 Email accounts + 100Mb of web storage space + 3 mySQL databases.	$24.99/month

Web hosting for the larger business that requires more online web space

This solution is appropriate for a business that wants our standard solution but has a greater need for online web space.

Advanced solution	Price (+ GST)
Unlimited Email accounts+250 Mb of Web storage space + 5 MYSQL databases:	$39.99/month

Note: Web storage space is for all data that the user may upload - web pages, databases and emails.

Hosting charges

Web Hosting is billed in advance for 12 months.
